Chocolate cherry with a sprig of mint

Hello ladies,

I am very excited to begin sharing the Nubar Chocolate Truffle collection with you. I am wearing Cherry Cordial, a warm brown with fine pink shimmer and hints of green duochrome. This brown has vestiges of red much like looking at a richly stained piece of mahogany.

Pastel green special polish adds mint flavor. I stamped the Fleur de lis pattern from Konad plate M15. Pale green marquis rhinestones were placed at the base of each French flower.

I will include a portrait of the entire chocolate assortment once the cloud cover departs. I missed the brighter noontime sun today, but I did catch some diffuse light before the rain commenced.

A pretty street tree in center city Philadelphia. I love how every color of fall from red to yellow-green was illustrated by the foliage.

A view of Fitler Square.

Cherry Cordial has the trademark Nubar application. It's pigmented enough to cover easily in two coats. Nubar has the big three free formula perfected. I feel more like I am working with quality art paint than nail polish.

I am glad Nubar sent these to me to review. While I am very excited to try the rest of the chocolates, I am going to be alternating these with looks from the Diamond Cosmetics Winter Collection and the Borghese Allegra Mini set. Even for an earthy girl, six days of brown is quite a commitment!

The Chocolate Truffle collection is available at bynubar.com. The set also includes Foundation Base Coat and Diamont topcoat.

Happy painting, ladies!

  5. Beautiful manicure. I love all of the Nubar Chocolate collection. The Fleur de lis pattern is a beautiful pattern. What a beautiful flower. I used to love walking around center city when I was a teenager. My girlfriend and I would skip school and take a bus over to just explore the city. I miss doing that.
