Jeweled butterflies and a voyeur

Hello ladies,

Today I am wearing Smoky Rose from the Diamond Cosmetics Winter Collection. Using blue pearl polish from the Coraline kit, I stamped a butterfly from Konad plate M15. Blue pearl is also available individually as a Princess polish.

Smoky Rose transforms according to the degree of light available. It's smokier in the shade. The color reminds me of the darker layers of pink in a sunset.

This tree was the color of a basket filled with lemons and limes.

Look who peeked out at me as I walked by! I don't know much about this sweet kitty other than that he was quite determined to make my acquaintance. What a handsome charmer!

There is some light bubbling from my Konad topcoat that needs replacing. My apologies.

Smoky rose applied well and was opaque in two coats.  Like the two other cremes in the Winter Collection, the color appears darker on the nail than in the bottle. I much prefer the color of the finished manicure, so I am pleased with the variance. I'm happy Diamond Cosmetics sent me this color to review. I probably would have purchased it for the name alone. Smoky rose makes me think of my favorite flower transmuted into incense. The fact that the color turned out to be a dusky rose shade is even more agreeable. The Winter Collection is available at diamondcosmetics.com

Happy painting, ladies!
