Fainting Couch: Lava near the azaleas

Hello ladies,

I am wearing Hard Candy Lava today. The gold shimmer radiates from the bright red base. When taking these photos, I almost swooned over the azalea bushes in rapture. I'm surprised the honey bees didn't faint as well.

Please have your smelling salts ready before viewing the photos. If you can procure a man to stand by with a large, feathered fan to cool any feverish excitement, it may be advisable.

Let us pause and look at some flowers.

Ah, the striped tulips make me think of a carnival. So festive!

I hope you have all regained your senses enough to read about the application. I am wearing three coats of Lava. I probably could have stopped at two, but I was so delighted painting it on, I added an extra coat.

I think I am going hunt down a man with some ostrich feathers to help distract me from the sultry beauty of Lava.

Hard Candy Lava was sent to me for review. You can see more of the Hard Candy range of products at hardcandy.com. Lava can be purchased at Walmart retail locations or on-line at walmart.com. Would you like a chance to win all 16 polishes in the Hard Candy Just Nails line? Please visit the contest post to enter.

Happy painting, ladies!

  3. This is so gorgeous.

I wish that Hard Candy would allow other retailers to distribute these polishes. Walmart can be hard to find and it doesn't even have this one listed online. And alot of the others are out of stock. :(

  9. Love this color. Luckily I was already lying down when I read this. :) It's probably better for my wallet that these can be harder to find...

    Thanks for sharing!

  12. Oh yes, this is one I feel doesn't get enough love - I agree that Mr. Wrong is hot, but this is an amazing polish! It looks fantastic on you. I've got a mental image of your man fanning you with palm leaves, now. <3

  13. Skulda: Thanks so much! Meow!

Silhouette Screams: Lava glows even in low light. It's an amazing polish!

    AllYouDesire: Thank you, sweetie! <3

Chaos Butterfly: Thank you for your kind comment. The feedback is also appreciated. I will definitely pass on this info to my contact. I did find Lava listed at walmart.com. It's odd. They list the color, but not the actual color name. It's shown as 'orange'. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Hard-Candy-Just-Nails-Nail-Polish-Orange/12440993. I took a look through the site and saw they were out of stock of about half the nail polishes at present, including Lava.

Rebecca: Thanks! Azalea petals are so soft! They feel feathery too!

ShortAndSweetNails: Thanks so much! I love creating an aesthetic feel to my posts. I'm so glad you enjoyed this offering. <3

  18. I never go to Walmart but if I did this is the one polish I would buy. Good thing I was already sitting on the couch reading this. The name fits this polish perfectly. I used to have a red lipstick with the same type of finish. I loved that lipstick. Probably a Revlon lipstick since it's been a long time since I've thought of it. I love Parrot tulips. There are some beautiful varieties of them. I'd love to go to Holland to see the tulip gardens there.
