Blue roses

Hello ladies,

Today I created a manicure to convey my fascination with blue roses. Symbols of peace and wholeness, the image of the blue rose is sometimes used as a point of meditation. They also represent the unattainable since their color is not expressed in Nature. Can you imagine a garden of blue roses and how beautiful that would be? I would love to see blue roses blooming within vantage of the ocean. Ah, whimsy!

The base color is s-he stylezone 471, a reflective blue foil. I stamped the double rose pattern from Konad plate M76 using blue pearl special polish. I added pearls to the center of each rose.

This grouping of irises is breathtaking.

S-he stylezone 471 needed three coats for perfect opacity. The color was easy to apply and built up beautifully. I am impressed with the S-he formula. The finish reminds me of the superb foils from Diamond Cosmetics. There are minimal brushstrokes and endless shine.

A European brand, S-he stylezone came to me compliments of amused polish. I have to applaud her fabulous taste. Many thanks!

Konad plate M76 was provided for my consideration. Konad products can be purchased from ocnailart.com.

Happy painting, ladies!

  12. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have roses the same shades as our polishes. I also love the image of blue roses with a vantage of the ocean. What joy that would bring. Lovely and ladylike manicure.
