Green Empress

Hello ladies,

I am here to share Chris's Green Belt, an emerald green shimmer, by Brucci. This polish suggests the look of jewels so I obliged. If nail art were popular in the days of empresses, this look would be an every day affair.

I stamped the gemstone pattern from Konad plate M76 with pastel green special polish. I felt the image seemed like a starting point for further embellishment so I added emerald green and peridot crystals and a diamond jewel in the center.

Clematis and ivy.

Chris's Green Belt was easy to apply and reached opacity in two coats. I really love the Brucci brand. There are some unique and gorgeous shades contained within those rather plain bottles. Brucci is often under appreciated. I hope to help bring some attention to their offerings. If you see a dusty Brucci rack at the end of a drug store aisle, there are treasures there.

For a chance to win a bottle of Chris's Green Belt in an assortment of beauty items valued over $100, please visit the contest post to enter.

Konad plate M76 was sent to me for consideration. Please visit ocnailart.com for all you Konad needs.

Happy painting, ladies!

  1. THAT is a magnificent, royal green! I don't generally like green nail polishes, but if I owned this, I would not be able to resist the urge to paint my nails with it! :)

  7. Joan: Thank you so much! Brucci does amazing jewel tones! I can understand the temptation. <3

nihrida: Thanks! The design does look like the new decals. It's actually a Konad stamp with five separate rhinestones placed on each nail with a pick up tool. I think I took the long road. ;)

    Tassa: Thank you! *curtseys*
