Apothecary: Reviva Labs DMAE Firming Fluid (a new favorite)

Hello ladies,

I have been using Reviva Labs DMAE Firming Fluid for the past month and I am exceptionally pleased with the results. This product is unique in that it does more than hydrate and soften the skin. DMAE stimulates muscle tone and provides a subtle lift to sagging skin on the face and throat.

This flowering bush is like a bee and butterfly factory.

After a week of using DMAE Firming Fluid, I noticed my jaw line and cheek bones seemed more defined. My facial skin is visibly firmer since I began applying this product daily. I started using the serum about a month ago.

Although the directions recommend using DMAE Firming Fluid morning and evening, I have had success applying the serum once daily. I smooth a thin layer over my face and neck after using cleanser and toner. While the serum absorbs easily, I prefer to wait about ten minutes before adding sun protection to my face and throat.

The ingredients include: Demineralized spring water, DMAE bitartrate, glycerin (veg.), polysorbate 20, sodium chloride, simethicone, hydroxyethylcellulose, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate and citric acid.

DMAE is believed to work by stimulating acetylcholine, a compound that activates muscles. Stimulated muscle tone can result in improvement in sagging skin and firmer facial contours.

The formula provides a 5% concentration of DMAE. This is a higher potency than the standard .5 to 1% available in most other brands. I can attest the DMAE levels present work effectively to help with skin elasticity.

If sagging skin is a key factor of aging in your family history, I would recommend trying the DMAE Firming Fluid as a preventative. I am big believer in using skin care products in coupling with sun protection to keep skin appearing young and supple.

DMAE Firming Fluid receives a very high recommendation from me. This product has earned a permanent place in my skin care apothecary.

DMAE Firming Fluid was sent to me for review. This serum is available for purchase at A 1 fluid ounce bottle retails for $19.

Happy painting, ladies!

  2. spifftiff88: No problem! The DMAE Firming Fluid is a standout among a line of really great products. I haven't ever ordered from I don't know much about them. It might be worth checking your local health food store too. The price could be similar when shipping is factored.

  3. Thanks for replying..that's true, I didn't think about checking health food store! I have ordered from iherb and I'm pretty sure shipping was reasonable..but anyway thanks :)
