Forest flying creatures

Hello ladies,

Beware of venturing into the woods at night! Spooky creatures with great wings and long tails camouflage themselves in the trees. The light you see is not from the Moon, but their glowing eyes intent on the path.

The creatures from image plate T32 were stamped in Konad pastel green special polish. I placed metallic green beads for eyes. I can't keep away from crystal Moons at Halloween!

Jade crystal skull.

Bonnie is a deep green jelly polish alive with glitter. I painted three coats for perfect opacity. The color builds beautifully. I would recommend applying thin coats. A little trick with jelly polishes: I always wrap the tips before each coat. It helps adhere a little extra color to the free edge, preventing signs of wear.

I hope you are amused with the ongoing cuteness of my Halloween manicures.

Image plate T32 was provided for my consideration. To view the full catalog of stamping design plates, stop by chez-delaney.com.

BB Couture Bonnie was sent to me for review. This shade along with the rest of the Infamous Lovers Ladies' Collection is available for purchase at overallbeauty.com. For a chance to win your choice of of five polishes from Infamous Lovers Men's or Ladies' stop by Trick-or-Polish? A Halloween Giveaway! to enter. The contest closes at the end of the day October 18th. Don't miss out!

Happy painting, ladies!

  1. Nice colour and cute nail art! Can I have your nails please? I have removed my acrylics a couple months ago but now they keep on breaking when they become a little longer. Well it could be worse right! :P

  2. Spaceinvaders: Thanks! I'm glad you like the design. Bonnie is such a gorgeous polish.
Q-tica Natural Nail Growth Stimulator is great for transitioning away from acrylics. http://www.qtica.com/content/36/category/Qtica_Natural_Nail_Growth_Stimulator.html. A lot of products make similar claims, but this is noteworthy. You can use it as a base and top coat. :)
