Nubar Finest Silks Collection (tell me your top picks)

Hello ladies,

This is the press release for Nubar Finest Silks. This collection looks really on trend to me. I love the idea of a grouping of neutrals with such a focus on taupe.

Are any of these shades calling to you? Please let me know what colors you would like seen featured and I will be glad to create looks with them. So far I am really curious about Organza and Marabout.

Traveling the Silk Road for inspiration, nubar introduces Finest Silks, a collection of eight luxuriously silky shades which provide complete coverage in two coats.

Effortlessly feminine with a thoroughly modern palette, these lovely new shades flatter every finger and lend themselves to the fluid, graceful silhouettes see on runways around the world.

Just as women love the shine and drape of silk, the love the sophistication of a classic nail polish. The shades of Finest Silks collection range to be universally appealing and beautiful on every woman.

Always free of formaldehyde, phthalate and toluene, the nail lacquers in Finest Silks offer seven dreamy cremes and one luminous frost.

nubar nail lacquers feature an ergonomically designed cap and a 299 bristle brush built for comfort and performance.

Organza - an intense pearl white
Taffeta - a pale peachy brown
Marabout - a deep muted brown
Pekin - a rich dark red
Chiffon - a muted brown
Moire- a light reddish brown
Charmeuse - a neutral blush
Sateen - a deep vivid red

Happy painting, ladies!

  1. Oh, it's such an awaited collection for me! We have a local internet shop, but it just recently got Venetian Glass in stock, so I'm on my long-waiting-road :)
Chiffon is so calling me! Maybe because of some sweet memories from my childhood at granny's. I mean the name! :) Plus, I'm such a taupe/greige lover.
Oh, Organza is the prettiness! I think this one and Sateen shades would look amazing on your nails.
These all are so feminine and gentle and... sexy! And as you said, sophiscated. Love them!

  5. The only one I'm interested in is Organza. I love pearly finishes.
But besides that, uh uh...I'm 99.9% I'm going to be bored with the reds and the browns are going to look horrible on me. *sad horns*

And it's so ironic, because when I hear silk, I think of vibrance and jewel tones. Lol, they should have called this The Finest Muslin Collection instead.

  8. They do look like silk or, even cashmere. I like Marabout and Sateen the best. However, I know you are going to make lovely swatches out of all of them. :)

And I'm looking forward to your props come this winter. :))
