Reviva Labs: Organic Skin Tonic

Hello ladies,

A few weeks ago, I added Reviva Labs Organic Skin Tonic to my cleansing routine. The blend of certified organic herbs, floral water and essential oils freshens and tones my skin. I appreciate how a relaxing bouquet of lavender, angelica, chamomile and hibiscus soothe my skin while appealing to my olfactory senses. This product is a delight to use.
I begin my skin care regimen by washing my face with Organic Cleansing Milk. Next, I moisten a cotton round with Organic Skin Tonic and apply it to my face and neck in an upward, swiping motion. The toner helps remove any trace residue left from cleansers.

While my complexion tends to be clear, I have noticed a lessening of irritation and minor break outs after incorporating Organic Skin Tonic to my routine. This product can help balance the skin's natural acids to promote clarity. For the nail polish lovers among us, I will liken using toner before moisturizing as applying base coat before polishing. It is an unseen practice that can have many subtle benefits.

The ingredients include: Steam distilled water, certified organic floral water of lavender and red raspberry, certified organic herbs of angelica, chamomile, ginger, hibiscus, sage, thyme, certified organic aloe vera, hawaiian seaweed, polysorbate 20, geranium essential oil, vegetable glycerine, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, allantoin, lavender essential oil, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate and citric acid.

Red raspberry is a natural astringent. This component has a high mineral content to nourish skin and anti-oxidant properties to promote skin health.

An anti-inflammatory, chamomile can help alleviate skin irritation. This soothing ingredient works to heal sensitive skin and has been employed to brighten the complexion.

Hyaluronic acid is a useful ingredient to help prepare skin before applying creams or lotions. HA boosts the ability of skin tissue to access and retain moisture.

If you are looking for a skin softening toner with natural components and a beautiful fragrance, I would certainly recommend Organic Skin Tonic. It's a product I look forward to using every day.

I am curious. How many of you ladies use toners as part of your skin care regimen? It's a practice I have revisited recently and am definitely going to maintain. I am pleased with the results.

Organic Skin Tonic was sent to me for review. This product can be purchased at revivalabs.com. A 4 ounce (118 ml) spray bottle retails for $9.50. Please note: The site lists hydrogen peroxide as an ingredient. This is not present in the current formula.

Happy painting, ladies!

  1. i'm still trying to find the perfect combination for my skin. i have more drying and chapping during the fall and winter. sounds like this product could help my face retain moisture, which i need! lol

  2. I don't use toner since they tend to be drying, so many of them contain alcohol. This one sounds like it's non-drying. I just might try this one.
