No, thank you!

Hello ladies,

I know many of you are curious to see the judging for the Starry Temptress Giveaway!I also have been greatly anticipating the event. A three-month-old kitten named Thistle was chosen to select the winner. Laura, her companion, and I dealt with difficult scheduling and uncooperative weather patterns for the past few weeks.

I had help from Missy at Rittenhouse Pets to find the perfect, tiny harness. David offered us his patio area at the cafe for the proceedings. His staff assisted me in securing the floral backdrop. They visited the photo shoot with treats and words of encouragement, but Thistle was disagreeable. A week later, I walked across town to the Art Museum area to meet her on her own turf. You can view the results below:
Three pounds of terror.

Thistle hides in the ivy.

And tastes the joy of sweet freedom!

Epic resistance is so tiring.

Time to nap.
Many thanks to Laura for trying her best to set up meetings with Thistle, the mischief maker. We are hoping she can return to painted Lady fingers when she is grown and more prepared for judicial responsibility.

In Thistle's stead, I chose a giant Rottweiler. I found him much easier to control.

The results will be up soon! In the meantime, stop by the You're A Goddess: Giveaway! and enter to win six BB Couture nail polishes, winner's choice of eye shadows from Overall Beauty Minerals, an Athena owl pendant and eye treatment and night serum from The Skin Society.

Happy painting, ladies!

  2. Kimberly: We are hoping she is more cooperative come the fall. Maybe she can hide from her responsibilities in a leaf pile. ;)

  4. I'm glad you introduced us to Thistle anyway, even though she didn't get to pick the lucky winner. She's adorable! Can't wait to see how much she's grown by the fall. :)
