Mario Badescu Skin Care: Cellufirm Moisturizer

Cellufirm Moisturizer by Mario Badescu has been part of my skin care regimen for the past several months. This hydrating lotion is infused with sea vegetables and collagen to help nourish and imbue the skin with a youthful fullness. 

As an evening treatment, I apply Cellufirm Moisturizer over a collagen based serum. This product can be used singly for those with normal to dry skin types. I also received a sample size of the Cellufirm Drops Serum, which acts as a moisture amplifier. I found this to be effective as an emollient layer to soothe my extra dry skin.

I appreciate how well Cellufirm Moisturizer transitions with the change of the seasons. Because my skin is also sensitive, I typically need to switch to a lighter weight formula at the end of Winter. I have had positive results with Cellufirm Moisturizer from February through May. I feel the versatility of this product comes from its consistency; It has the hydrating properties of a night cream within the form of a lotion.

Bladderwrack is a type of seaweed. Its mineral rich components can contribute to skin health and longevity. It can help purge the skin of toxins that contribute to wrinkles and other signs of premature aging.

Algae extract is rich in nutritive phytochemicals. This ingredient can bring additional moisture and increase the skin's suppleness.

Collagen is present in young skin and diminishes with age. Products that replenish collagen or stimulate collagen production are useful in helping the skin to retain a youthful appearance. I love how smooth my skin looks after applying this product.
